Training on HREDD Toolkit held at SAF Industries Ltd.
Bangladesh Tanners Association (BTA) in collaboration with ETI Bangladesh, conducted a two-day training on Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) at SAF Industries Ltd., Jashore on 22 & 23 July, 2026.
The training brought together factory representatives to strengthen their understanding of HREDD and its relevance to day-to-day business operations. More importantly, it focused on encouraging factory ownership and practical action, helping move HREDD from an external compliance expectation towards an approach that can be embedded within regular business practices.
Building this understanding and ownership is an important step towards identifying and addressing human rights and environmental risks, while fostering more responsible and sustainable business practices.
Participants from Sustainability Team, General Administration, Production and Workers Representative attended the training.
Officials from BTA & ETI Bangladesh were present and facilitated the training.
